The last 6 months have been a whirlwind of activity in the studio. We've put out three more "World Record" tracks with another in progress, recorded some seriously heavy duty new "Maps for Travelers" (which is in its final stages and is seriously the best thing I have heard from our city in quite some time) and finally started drums for the new "Hostage Revolt" which is going to kill.
We've also done some more reorganizing of equipment/racks with more to occur. We hope to bring in a second Apogee Symphony to plant the Neve 5060's I/O on as well as a second patchbay. As it turns out, we have outgrown out 192pt. patch, which I promised myself I would never expand. Well, promise broken, folks. Let the outboard gear flow! Speaking of which, after years of searching and contemplation we just purchased a Focusrite Red3 compressor that will likely be used on the master buss for most of what we do. What's more interesting than the Red3 is that we bought it from none other than Tom Lord-Alge. I think its safe to say that this is one of the "good ones". Input transformer and output transformer version, etc. Now if we could only get Tom's mind and ears we would be all set......
Serenity Now,
